Oh, I can't wait to hear about the warm and fuzzy Unicorns dancing on a rainbow of diversity with lots of “snugs” to keep us safe at night as well as how “development” with save us all from our financial woes.
Spano Sucks, plain and simple. He is a lying bag of excrement!
I’ve got my popcorn and Kool-Aid ready………

I hope sanitation men are on call for all the BS that will be spewed out of Spanos mouth. State of the city is so appropriate. just what state?

Beside sputtering and stuttering, did you not also hear this?
More shops.
More gambling.
More Restaurants.
More affordable housing.
More financial Aid from Albany.
And of course, it’s all about the children…….
Hey Spano: How about infrastructure rebuilding and manufacturing base developments. You cannot spend your way out of a recession by eating, gambling, or shopping!
What a retard.

What a sad day when we have to hope that old folks from the Bx take a bus ride up to empire city and spend their s.s. checks in order for Yonkers to thrive.
Brother Nick must be so proud that he has secured this new tax base for the city of hills.

And then he woke up! Schoolenrollmentis up and the bd. of ed. is asking for another 27 million. Who owned the property will the river will be daylighted? onaps maybe. The race track is making billions for NY state not Yonkers and Pretlow wants to take away the 20 million Yonkers gets from the racino. And last but not least "controlling expenditures, consolidating and improving city costs..we are moving forward" That just means more outsiders and family members are getting hired by the mayor

"This city is a bunch of bullshit fucker politicians"
City, State, and Country!!!!!!
Do you see a pattern of self destruction here?
At one point, I actually felt embarrassed for that illiterate imbecile, who could not get out a proper statement without sounding horrible, but then I realized how hard I am going to get screwed by him and his gang so my embarrassment turned into frustration.

Bla bla bla I am going to get a lot of my friends and family rich with sweetheart deals and appointed jobs that never existed before I go elected.
Bla bla bla it is all about the children.
Bla bla bla I am going to rip apart every piece of land I can find (or steal) in order to develop it.
Bla bla bla I am going to raise your taxes.
Bla bla bla it is all about the children.

The problem is that your brothers and close friends brag. They brag about your girlfriend and theirs who miraculously have found high compensation employment in City Hall. They brag about the husbands; wives and relatives of family and friends that have new jobs sucking on the tit of the Yonkers taxpayer.
Then there’s your manipulation of the truth; the outright lying to the citizens of Yonkers. Do we really want to rehash the Deputy Mayor fiasco, or maybe why you have singled out the Fire Department as your punching bag? Wouldn’t be some political payback at the expense of our long suffering citizens now would it? Maybe you want to explain how your family will benefit with all of this new development you want to push down our throats, or how the Federal prosecutor is still looking into you and your jailed brother’s involvement in Ridge Hill. I could go on and on…….
You, Mr. Mayor; are a profound disappointment. We hope that we will soon be able to put you and your family’s aggrandizement in the history book as an unfortunate choice of a once great, but still optimistic city.

Can someone explain why it's ok for the Mayor to have his detective brother driving him around everywhere on OVERTIME!!! I heard the guy's salary has doubled since his brother became mayor!!! and he brags to everyone on the job that all he does is drive his brother around, and he gets a take home car!!! what a shame! meanwhile he picks on the firemen and our overtime? we don't get take home cars or plush do nothing jobs!!!!

Because he is Mayor Mike, that's why!!!
The Spano family will fleece this city into bankruptcy!
They do not give a shit about the taxpayer.
I can only pray that he is a “one term” mayor.
Posted by: Spano Sucks | March 22, 2013 at 07:43
I happen know mike very well, although it makes for a good story (coming from a fireman) I don't believe he has allowed his brother to do that. He was a detective long before mikes run for mayor. But one might ask- why is it ok for all of your chiefs to have a fireman driving at 80k a year?

what a jerk
Posted by: truth or dare | March 22, 2013 at 08:42
When you sh#t on a workforce with b.s. back door tactics, it doesn't take long to feel uncomfortable. How are the Spanos doing? You're all a bunch of b.s. blood suckers that make claims of greatness over third-grade level achievements. You've all been outted and us taxpayers all know it!
Posted by: YonkersResident | March 22, 2013 at 08:51
Truth, thats a good name to post under because it is the only thing you haven't divulged. Just keep writing what the mayor wants because it far from the Truth.

To tax dollars: Can you back up your claim? Right, you can't.
Posted by: Cry babies | March 23, 2013 at 09:16
One thing is for sure, the BOE is giving away everything while admitting they have not been doing thier job. The P3 idea is only a thought now because of decades of people filling their pockets and not considering the aging and needs of the school district physical plants.
The raises afforded teachers will eclipse the money granted to the schools for the teacher evaluation system, so their goes saving jobs with that cash.
In the mayors defense, the schools need for repairs/replacement did not start yesterday, but perrazio has been around long enough to be accountable. As for the raises, coumos idea to get the teachers to accept the eval. system in hopes NYC woulfd fall in line. DID NOT WORK, but we are left with the tab. Less teachers because we have to give raises in a 84 million dollar budget shortfall, How did that happen?

To Tax dollars, you're either making this up or getting bs info from some disgruntled pussies. Show your facts or shut up. And I am not a Spano nor do I work in City Hall.
Posted by: Rubbersuit | March 23, 2013 at 12:23
Some please respond to my post, I think these are key issues in the cities chronicles. The more info we share, the stronger our commitment will be in soliciting new or better ideas.

To rubber suit. Your not a spano or CH employee? So why is this relevant to you? Why would one seem so angry and use such vulgar words if one wasn't so involved. Maybe your not the one being so truthful now are we........
