Legislators Invite School, Municipal and Community Leaders, and the Public to Comment on Governor Cuomo’s 2015-16 New York State Executive Budget

GREENBURGH, NY – February 11, 2015 — The Westchester Assembly Delegation invites the public, community leaders, municipal and school officials to offer comments on the Governor’s proposed New  York State budget for 2015-16 on Monday, February 23rd at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh, NY 10607.

General comments will be heard from 2-4pm on all aspects of the budget; from 4-6pm, the focus will be on the education portion of the budget.

People who wish to testify are asked to contact Assemblymember Shelley Mayer’s office. Those testifying are asked to limit their oral presentations to 3 minutes, to allow for as many people as possible.

Written testimony would be greatly appreciated. Please bring copies of your testimony to the public forum. It is important that you register to testify so that those planning to do so may be notified in the event of postponement or cancellation of the forum, and a schedule of presenters can be organized to make the most efficient use of time.

    It is unconscionable that there is no evening session…People do work outside of Westchester County and can not attend an afternoon session…

    Please organize one for the evening……
