YONKERS, NY — March 23, 2017 — The Yonkers Democratic City Committee has thrown their support behind Ken Jenkins for Westchester County Executive.

“Ken is the very picture of what a public official should be,” said Tom Meier, Sr. Chair of the Yonkers Democrats. “He is a smart, dedicated legislator who has proven, time and time again, that he has what it takes to beat Astorino and put Westchester back on track.”

The Ken Jenkins for Westchester campaign has been picking up steam with added staff, and an influx of hundreds of volunteers in a show of grassroots support. Ken has been crisscrossing the district, attending as many as 3 meetings a night with Democratic leaders from New Rochelle to Ossining.

“Yonkers is my home, and it is a true honor to have the support of the Yonkers Democrats,” said Jenkins, upon receiving the endorsement. “This is going to be the largest grassroots campaign Westchester County has ever seen, and with this endorsement, we’re off to the races.”

“Ken is a strong advocate for the people of Yonkers, and all the people of Westchester County,” said Meier. “Today, more than ever, we need a leader that will create opportunities for ALL its residents.”

  1. Latimer my 3-lengths

    Doesn’t matter.

George Latimer is going to win this race, hands down.

Prince Andrew will throw millions at George’s campaign to clinch Pee Wee’s seat.

Then Westchester gets more property tax increases with another tax and spend Andy Spano steering this ship.

    You’ll see……

By the way, Ken Jenkins is a useless, stupid Asshole (perfect for Governmental employment. I wonder what job Latimer will give Jenkins to drop out of the race.)

    Spin the wheel folks.

    Anything is possible.

    Just saying!

  2. Hail

“Yonkers Democratic City Committee”. You see the irony here? There is no democracy in Yonkers. Zero. Nada, if you pardon my spanish. A committee are deciding for the party members who will/will not be a candidate.
    How wrong is that?
Ken like many more in Yonkers/Westchester/NY government need to get a real job and get off the taxpayers tit. Excuse me he has a real job isn’t he the chair of the Yonkers IDA?

He’s been there too long and what exactly has he done? Nada

    1. Yonkers LOL

Tell me please…..just what support does the Yonkers Dem Committee give a candidate even after a convention?

The answer is NOTHING. No money. No operation.
      Nothing.

The only successful candidates will be the ones prepared to win without the party “support”

“Ken is the very picture of what a public official should be,” said Tom Meier, Sr. Chair of the Yonkers Democrats.

    Yeah, the classic crook.

I suppose he won’t have to take an apartment out of his resident legislative district to run for this seat…but Astorino will have a field day rolling over the empty-suit Ken is, and who’s only interest is feathering his own nest at the public expense.

Really, folks, what did Ken ever do for you? Sure, he can talk a good game…but so can Vinnie Spano, and that isn’t saying much.

Too bad for Yonkers and Westchester voters that they have to settle on this moron…and it’s too bad that there aren’t any stronger names entering the race but the Yonkers Dems are bought, paid for, and in debt to Spano Brothers & Co. so outsiders have no chance of getting past their wall of corruption.

    Prediction: Astorino by 70%.
