DUTCHESS, PUTNAM, and WESTCHESTER COUNTIES — May 7, 2018 — The Northern Westchester Democratic Coalition and Indivisible Westchester have endorsed Democratic candidate for State Senator, Robert Kesten in the District 40 race.

The Northern Westchester Democratic Coalition has as members, all of the Democratic Committees in Westchester County north of Interstate 287. This includes the city of Peekskill, the towns of Cortlandt, Lewisboro, Mount Pleasant, New Castle, North Salem, Pound Ridge, Somers and Yorktown, the town/village of Mount Kisco, and the villages of Briarcliff Manor, Buchanan, Croton-on-Hudson, Pleasantville and Sleepy Hollow and towns outside District 40.

Indivisible Westchester (IW) is a political action group using the nationally recognized Indivisible Guide as a primary framework for grassroots organizing. According to their Steering committee, “Indivisible Westchester, which played a key role in the recent elections of George Latimer as Westchester County Executive and Shelley Mayer as NY State Senator, proudly supports Robert Kesten. IW believes Kesten’s strong, principled positions, combined with his willingness to challenge the status quo and build partnerships to get things done, make him the right choice for the people of the 40th State Senate district.”

Robert Kesten engaged attendees at a recent Town Hall Series held in Pawling for a discussion about “A DEMOCRATIC STATE SENATE & WHAT IT MEANS”.
