White Plains, NY
— White Plains Democratic City Committee members received an
email from Vice-Chairman Paul Schwarz advising, "The time has come to make
a change in the government of White Plains.
There is a great deal to be done, but this is the year." Mr. Schwarz was referring
to the Monday, March 30th announcement at 11:00
a.m. by Assemblyman Adam Bradley, 89th AD, D-White Plains (pictured left), of his
candidacy for Mayor of White Plains. The announcement will be made at the steps
of White Plains City
Hall , 225 Main Street
.
Mr. Schwarz further advises that the
www.BradleyForWhitePlains.org Website
will be operational come Monday.

Mr. Bradley’s run for Mayor of White Plains will not place
his New York State Assembly seat, even were he to lose because his term as
Assemblyman exceeds the election to mayor by one year. Mr. Bradley, 48, has
served as Chairman of the White Plains Democratic Committee, and as NYS
Assemblyman since 2003.

Incumbent Mayor Joseph Delfino (pictured right), first elected in 1997, has
yet to divulge whether he would seek a fourth, four-year term.

Mr. Schwarz’s email was hurriedly sent out in anticipation of
an article that was written by Keith Eddings in today’s Journal News.

Official
notice of the impending announcement was not received until today.
