Scarsdale, NY — New York’s Senior U.S. Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) today announced his endorsement of Westchester County Executive Andy Spano for re-election. Schumer and Spano were joined by U.S. Representatives Nita Lowey, Eliot Engel and John Hall.
“Andy Spano has been one of the most successful county executives in New York State,” said Schumer at Sunday’s press conference. “Under his leadership Westchester’s quality of life has flourished. He’s a fiscally prudent executive who knows how to cut costs while maintaining services. I whole heartedly endorse him for another term as Westchester County Executive.”
“Senator Schumer has been tireless advocate in Washington for the needs of Westchester and I greatly value his partnership,” said Spano. “I appreciate both his efforts and his endorsement and look forward to working with him for the benefit of our county’s residents into the future.”
