  1. Respect: Did you really mean to say Yonkers needs people who just like to bash others to make themselves feel good? Some people just don’t read their own writing.

  2. Marty Jr is a very good man and very active in the community. He is very successful on his own at Citibank. The kid knows everyone and almost everyone banks with him in Yonkers because he is well respected and knows his stuff. Good for him to be part of that Board. Keep up the great work and congrats!
His father is a great man too. VERY WELL RESPECTED AND WELL DESERVED! Some people just like to bash others to make themselves feel good.
    Yonkers needs people like them.

  3. Marty is trying to make it on his own but is only nice when he wants something. If he doesn’t need you for his gain or enjoyment he has no interest in you. Stay clear.

  4. I DON’T THINK THE MAJORITY THOUGHT THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WAS EVEN NEWS WORTHY.
    ie. no blog attention.
99% OF THE PEOPLE IN YONKERS DO NOT KNOW THIS ORGANIZATION NOR DO THEY KNOW BALL OR ORLANDO.
    THE QUESTION HERE IS;
    WHO REALLY CARES?
NOTE: ASKING TO HAVE A POST TAKEN DOWN IS A SURE SIGN OF INSECURITY… THATS WHAT BLOGS ARE FOR AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THEM.
GOOD LUCK TO WHATEVER YOU DO ON ANOTHER WORTHLESS BOARD IN SOUTH YONKERS.

  5. Does his dad own Citibank??? That’s where he works. Abe does not make any senses.
Sounds VERY BITTER AND ALONE. Guess that’s why Abe is writing on a blog and not signing Abe’s real name…Abe has no “balls.”
Someone does something good and people try turn it into a negative things. Such poor pathetic people. Get a live and go make your own mark instead of bashing others.

  6. young Marty would have been a nice kid except he had a daddy who never thought his kid was good enough, was never as good as daddy so he tried to buy his sons way through life. Of course young Marty got the rep of being a mommas (or daddy’s) boy with a silver spoon but none of that was his fault. Parenting is not a perfect science and young Marty was saddled with and overachieving dad who just blew it for the kid. I mean he bought him a bank, enough said. Left alone there’s no way of knowing how good this kid would have been but daddy guaranteed we’ll never find out.
So, leave him alone, write daddy a letter if you’ve got issues and be thankful your not this kid.

  7. Wow! Abraham, Martin and John Very Clever! At least one person on this site has half a brain. Maybe we can make a more current version of the song?
To the tune of Abraham, Martin and John….
Has anyone here seen my old friend Sandy
Can you tell me where she’s gone,
She took a lot of money,
but just to change her vote
    That’s better then her dad
who sold a lot of dope
Has anyone here seen my old friend Zehy
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
    He owns Oakleys car wash
    and some other real estate
looks like when the feds come
    he took the bait
Has anyone here seen my old friend Anthony
Can you tell me where he’s gone
    He rigged a few elections
Went down to Patsys and had the veal
Wonder which one of them’s gonna squeal
