YPD_patch  Yonkers, NY, June 30, 2010 –‭ ‬On‭ ‬06-29-10‭ ‬at approximately‭ ‬9:10‭ ‬p.m.,‭ ‬numerous units responded to‭ ‬89‭ ‬Palisade Avenue on a report of a male shot.‭  ‬Officers located a‭ ‬28‭ ‬year old male area resident with a gunshot wound to the back of his neck.‭  ‬The victim was transported to an area hospital.‭  ‬Investigation revealed that the victim was shot inside of the lobby of‭ ‬43‭ ‬Palisade Avenue and a crime scene was processed at that location.‭  ‬A black male suspect was observed fleeing the scene.‭  ‬The victim was last reported in stable condition.‭  ‬Anyone with information can please contact the Detective Division at‭ ‬914-377-7724.‭        ‬

  1. If people were being shot in the neck on a daily basis on Central Ave and Tuckahoe Rd. or Palisade Ave and Roberts, I wonder if there would be any police cuts at all. I bet there wouldn’t.
    It almost seems as if the mayor does not care what happens to the poor black youth in this city.
    It’s really a shame.
