Yonkers, NY, August 17, 2010 — On 08-11-10 at approximately 7:41 p.m., 1st Precinct units responded to 278 Tuckahoe Road (Shoprite Supermarket) on a report of a past larceny. A 25 year old male city resident related that he was a campaign worker for Mike Ramondelli, a candidate for the New York State Assembly 93rd District. The victim related that he was soliciting signatures in support of his candidate when he was approached by a male, who subsequently took the clip board belonging to the victim. According to the victim, the clip board contained approximately 275 signatures. Units canvassed the area for the victim, but he was not located. Members of the Detective Division immediately began an investigation into the incident, and on 08-16-10 a male identified as Julio Sofia of 22 Park Avenue in Eastchester was placed under arrest and arraigned in Yonkers Criminal Court for Grand Larceny.

Why are you reporting this as a Yonkers Police Blotter story.
It was noticeable in the last story that you did on this subject, that you interspersed cynical comments wrt the validity of the allegations.
Thought for sure that you would do a head on story about the Spano thuggery. Are you biased in favor of the Spanos?
