McLaughlin_liam Westchester, NY, September 2010 – Conservative and Republican Party endorsed candidate  Liam McLaughlin, vying to represent the 35th Senate District yesterday celebrated the opening of his campaign headquarters in Greenburgh, NY, with a grand opening ceremony.

McLaughlin said "Today I am unveiling my new campaign headquarters at 599 CentralPark Avenue in Greenburgh, NY. This is a very exciting day for me as I am joined by my family, friends and supporters who I have worked with in Westchester County all my adult life. The fact that I am supported by so many hard working New Yorkers is a testament to how great our democratic process is. When people are sick and tired of the direction our state is headed, they have a right to assemble and make their voices heard by throwing these incompetent elected officials out of office. Come this November, the voices of this silent majority of New Yorkers will finally be heard. Those who have been taken for granted by Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins and the Senate Majority will soon realize their actions come with consequences when they find themselves out of a job come November. I'm asking anyone who wants to end theAlbany dysfunction and bring much needed tax relief to the citizens of Westchester to come out to our grand opening and join our campaign to get New York back on track for success and prosperity for generations to come."

  1. McLaughlin is so despised in Yonkers that he had no choice but to hide his campaign HQ in Greenburgh.
The baloney about cutting into Andrea’s base is nonsense.
Every politician places their HQ in friendly territory, which for McL does not exist.
If he opened one up in his old council district, or anywhere else in Yonkers, he would suffer much harasment and embarassment.

  2. My guess is that’s why he said “taking away his Eastchester stronghold and replacing it with the ultra liberal Greenburgh”.
Reading comprehension wasn’t your thing in school, was it?

  3. gee, derek…and you seem to put yourself forth as so politically savvy…
Greenburgh is where Andrea’s strengh is, get it? When Nick Spano’s district was changed several years ago, (which lead to his demise), taking away his Eastchester stronghold and replacing it with the ultra liberal Greenburgh, the death knell rang. That is why Liam is based there…he has to win over those people. Now, maybe you can go away and take a politics 101 class before you continue to annoy people on this site?

  4. This is really funny a dysfunctional Yonkers ex-politician claiming he can change dysfunction in Albany. Go away McLaughlin, far far away.
