  1. I tend to agree with the above comments- his chances of a successful appeal after conviction at a bench trial are de minimis. While he probably will not be sentenced to anything more than probation with the typical batterers conditions, it will hardly reflect well upon the city of White Plains to have such a person at the helm. And his abject refusal to accept responsibility for his actions and his stated intent to pursue a series of appeals will keep this issue in the public eye and continue to drag the city through the mud for years to come.

  2. now that bradley stands convicted of a misdemeanor
and several violations…faces up to a year in
prison and still remains in office..the least he can
do for the people he purports to serve is to step aside
unfortunately there is no mechanism in the white
plains city charter that allows removal for other than
conviction for a felony..there is a provision that
says that a mayor who is disorderly can be removed
aside from the convictions arising from the actual
domestic violence charges bradley stands convicted of
a criminal contempt.as the mayor who was sworn to uphold the constitution of the state of new york and
as an attorney who is sworn to uphold the law he was
found to have violated an order of the court which
puts him in contempt of the court, the law and the
state of new york…there is absolutlely no chance
that an appellate court would reverse a judge who
was the trier of fact on this conviction…it was
her order..and she found he violated it…resign
