YONKERS, NY – Shelley Mayer won the endorsement of the Democratic, Independence and Working Family Parties to emerge a strong contender to succeed the open 93rd Assembly District seat that was abdicated upon Mike Spano acceding to the office of Mayor of the City of Yonkers on January 1, 2012. Officially declaring her candidacy yesterday night, Mayer will share some thoughts regarding her campaign effort with our listeners during our first hour on the air. She is vying to earn the support in the Special Election called by Governor Andrew Cuomo to complete the last year's term of office that remains in the former Assemblyman Mike Spano's term.
