On Monday, April 9th, Dennis Sheehan will speak to the upcoming free and open to the public extravaganza known as “Books Without Borders.” The event is sponsored by the Yonkers Downtown / Waterfront BID, The Yonkers Library System, The Westchester Guardian newspaper, the Yonkers Tribune blog, and the Westchester On the Level radio Show. Its purpose is to promote local authors, and those from afar; booksellers, literary agents, publishers, distributors, and celebrate literacy and writing communities. Listen to find out more.

April 10th will have Richard Narog and Hezi Aris in discussion of political concerns while in the second hour, James Smith, public affairs representative for Vaughn College, the aeronautics and technology school will speak to their upcoming Open House.

April 11th will afford us a talk with Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick.

April 12th, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will discuss the concerns impacting the city. He will also accept questions on topic.

April 13th will afford us discussion with Steve Sansone, executive director of the Yonkers Downtown / Waterfront BID.

  1. The Books Without Borders, sounds like it will be a wonderful event. I’m going to be there with my children’s book, “A Lesson My Cat Taught Me.”
