YONKERS, NY – June 11, 2012 — Kitley Covill, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano’s nominee for Yonkers’ Inspector General begins the term vacated by the unexpected departure of Dan Schorr today. Covill’s term begins today and ends on December 31, 2013, filling out the remainder of former IG Dan Schorr’s term.
Covill is responsible for overseeing investigations of alleged waste, fraud, and abuse by the City of Yonkers or any of its public officials or employees.
