  1. This is about Lesnick wanting a third term like Bloomberg. This has been voted down before, and the last thing Yonkers needs is another term of his rudderless hack “leadership.”

  2. Shut up Chuck, or Chuck poodle. People are insane if they think a politician deserves credit for helping themselves to further power and/or salary + pension. INSANE.

  3. the signatures give the Mayor and the Council Cover to put it on the ballot. Either entity could do it on theor own but this way it is in response to a groundswell of support. Regardless you have to give them credit for putting it on the ballot.

  4. Oh! the signatures are how the ruling elites control the “democratic” process in this country. Highly undemocratic and part of the girl scout, door to door cookie drive that is a farce, pure and silple.

  5. if you get alot of signatures the bonus pay is a job working for the guy who you help get elected well.. it was always that way in the past so basically its taxpayer funded

  6. Who is paying for these jobs? This needs to be fully investigated by the state board of elections, but won’t because they are asleep at the switch.
