Latimer and Mayer Host New York State Budget Forum at Yonkers Will Library

YONKERS,
NY – New York State Senator George Latimer and Assemblymember Shelley Mayer
will convene a “Community Budget Hearing” regarding the FY2013-14 New York
State Budget. Community residents are invited to testify on their concerns
regarding the impact of the Governor’s proposed budget.  Each speaker will
be afforded up to four (4) minutes to speak. If desired, written testimony can
be submitted ahead of time or after the event to Latimer@NYSenate.gov
or MayerS@assembly.state.ny.us.
No RSVP is required.

The
Community Budget Hearing will be conducted at the Grinton I. Will Public
Library, 1500 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10710, on Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 4 –
7 P.M.

  1. CNBC had a segment on this morning on how many Millionaires are moving out of New York State for tax reasons. Hopefully the politicians will touch on that subject because it won’t be long before the 47% becomes the 74% in NY. If you don’t think it will happen just take a look at what other parts of the world are going through, once they are entitled to something they want it forever.(craddle to the grave)
