WHITE PLAINS, NY — April 27, 2014 — “On this Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial day, I join with people everywhere commemorating the memory of the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust seven decades ago. This is a day of remembrance, not just for those of the Jewish faith, but for all people who should pause and recognize the unimaginable crimes against humanity perpetrated by Hitler‘s Nazi regime. Here in New York, there are still many survivors amongst us from whom we can still hear their eyewitness reports of the horrors that they faced. Let us focus on their message that we will never be silent in face of man’s inhumanity to man.”
