YORKTOWN, NY — October 15, 2015 — Grab your family and friends and form a team to play in Yorkville Sports Association’s (“YSA Leagues”) third annual Wifftoberfest Wiffle Ball tournament on Saturday, October 17.
“You’ll have a fantastic time participating in a family-oriented event that benefits Yorktown’s Alliance for Safe Kids (“ASK”) says YSA Leagues president, Al Morales.
ASK is a collaboration within the Yorktown community aimed at providing youth with the information and skills needed to make healthy decisions, and emphasizing the need for families to protect and nurture children by getting informed and getting involved. “We are proud to stand with ASK in support of area youth” Mr. Morales continued.
The tournament will be held at Navajo Fields at the Yorktown Sports Complex, which is donating the fields. All ages are welcome and every player will receive a free t-shirt. The cost for the Open division is $120/team, and the Family division is $100/team. Team check in starts at 9 AM on October 17 and the first game begins at 10 AM.
