Will someone please explain to me why Hillary Clinton is viewed by so many as the inevitable choice of voters in 2016? By what stretch of the imagination is this woman qualified to be the Chief Executive of the most powerful nation in the history of the world? A nation, by the way, that is considerably less powerful, thanks to the current occupant of the Oval Office, who wrested the Democrat nomination from Ms. Clinton 8 years ago. In 2008, it seemed to many that she was a shoo-in for the nomination and the presidency. Suddenly, an obscure Illinois Senator, with the unusual name of Barack Hussein Obama, showed the country how weak a candidate she was, and relegated her to an ignominious defeat at the polls.

Well, here we are, 8 years later, and the same aura of inevitability is floating through the political miasma. Even with Bernie Sanders, a self-described Socialist Democrat, drawing more crowds at his rallies than Clinton, if you ask people their opinion on who the next president will be, it’s a good bet that they’ll say Hillary. Incidentally, that opinion comes from many people who adamantly say they’d never vote for her. The reason for their opinion comes from major media mind manipulation. When millions of people are fed 3 square meals of propaganda every day, their judgment and intellectual acumen becomes directly proportional to the amount of political calories they consume.

Let’s face it; the first female president would have been elected in 2008 if the mainstream media hadn’t turned even further left when they saw an opportunity to anoint the first black president. Now that they have that out of the way they’re looking for another first. To their chagrin, they’re stuck with Hillary, who, during the interim, has become an even worse candidate than last time. When Obama appointed her as Secretary of State it was merely to assuage the ire of her diehard supporters, who wanted some justification for their fanatical allegiance to a woman with no accomplishments on her résumé. That is, unless you count marrying Bill Clinton and clinging to the Rascal in Chief as he ascended the political ladder.

Actually, for Bill and Hillary, it was the perfect marriage. He would chase every skirt within sight, and she’d run interference for him every time his extracurricular activities became public. From accusations of forcible rape, to sexual groping, to oral sex in the Oval Office, Mr. Clinton had his enabler-in-chief at his side, telling the country it was all part of a rightwing conspiracy to “get” her husband. Every time she got caught with Bill’s pants down, she referred to her husband’s accusers as “bimbos.” Then, Hillary used her influence to shut them up, describe them as “infatuated,” or, as in the case of Juanita Broaddrick, the woman who accused Clinton of rap    e, have the IRS audit her business.

Now, in a colossal example of hypocrisy, Hillary is running as the defender of women’s rights and throwing the term “sexism” around like confetti at a costume party. I realize the public has a short memory, but, in the era of mass social media, one doesn’t need recollection to help make decisions; one only needs a few clicks on Google to discover that the former First Lady has been a disaster at everything she’s undertaken. From her disastrous healthcare plan in 1993, to the tragic debacle in Bengazi in 2012, she has consistently displayed a lack of judgment, coupled with a propensity for lying as she attempted to squirm her way out of responsibility every time she screwed up. Given the achievements of countless women in government, the medical and legal professions and the corporate world, there’s no doubt that they have proven their ability to rise to the heights of success in any endeavor. Furthermore, the most accomplished women in the country didn’t make it by hanging onto their husband’s coattails.
Therefore, other than the perception that “it’s her turn,” why should anyone want to vote for someone who is totally devoid of accomplishments? Isn’t that what happened during the last 2 elections? President Obama’s executive inexperience, his leftist philosophy and his theoretical view of the world has resulted in total chaos in the Middle East, a deepening recession in our country, and a dangerous lack of respect from our enemies. Nevertheless, Ms. Clinton, an accomplice to all that incompetence, is still the darling of the liberal establishment. One obvious reason is that she continues to promise more free stuff to an ever-growing class of dependents. Another is that she will continue to urge women to vote for her because…, well, because she’s a woman. Go figure!
