  1. He just drives the opposite way when they are doing the cash for trash on bulk day and they have nothing to worry about at all. The I.G. can’t touch them or the Mayor. It’s Yonkers. That’s why we need private sanitation pickups – save the taxpayers millions.

  2. We need “The litter free street act of 2017” what a shame. The council people seem to be out of touch with their districts. How did we become so full of litter. You can say what you want about John Spencer but he kept the city clean and he had a mess to clean up. Knock him all you want but at least as a homeowner I wasn’t looking at trash littering our streets everyday.

    1. It starts at the top and works it’s way down. Look even the garbage men, if the trash misses the truck they don’t pick it up. That is the pride they have in their work and so it trickles up and down. With no supervision that’s just how Yonkers goes. Top to bottom.
Never gonna change the culture unless you get the trash at the top out first. This goes for all departments and is displayed in the way most of these folks speak to the public.
As for Spencer how’s his tax lien going? We never heard how that worked out.
She was a senior, go figure.
Say a women in Bronxville last week just trowing trash on the ground.

  3. Ah. Here comes the summer laden with all of these stealth taxes. This is how municipalities and county governments are staying under the property tax cap.
This is also wrong as these stealth taxes cannot be included for income taxes to reduce the taxpayer burden, because you cannot write them off.

Yonkers is such a scam. Everywhere you go they are scamming us. I blame the republicans on this. One other reason I’m not voting for Lame.
