TOWN OF CORTLANDT, NY — September 16, 2017 — Statement from Bob Outhouse, Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform Party candidate for Westchester’s 9th Legislative District. Issued on his big victory in the Independence Party Primary.
“I am truly humbled and honored to have earned such a resounding victory in the Independence Party primary. I would like to thank my family, friends and the Independence Party voters for their support. Independent voters, like most voters, are getting tired of the hyper-partisan and toxic political rhetoric. Last night they put their confidence in me – a father, police officer, firefighter and a first-time candidate. I have pledged to work across party lines to get things done and to always put people before politics. I will not let them down.”
Bob Outhouse is a life-long resident of the Town of Cortlandt, a 38-year volunteer firefighter/EMT, 9/11 First Responder, and 23-year retired police detective with the Westchester County Police. Bob is the President of the Westchester County Volunteer Firemen’s Association, and holds office in several volunteer associations.
