PELHAM, NY — November 7, 2017 — Documentary filmmaking as an art form has never been more in vogue and, as The New York Times put it, it is where “all the cool kids are.” To celebrate this important film genre, The Picture House Regional Film Center has named November “Doc Month.” TPH will be showing a wide variety of docs through this month with all films playing in the theater’s intimate 14-seat Screening Room. The program kicked off with Ex Libris: The New York Public Library on November 3 and ends on the 9th; then a stylish portrait of famed shoemaker Manolo Blahnik and a daring look at the legendary surfer Laird Hamilton. Show times vary and can be found with tickets at www.thepicturehouse.org.
