Operation Santa Claus to Announce Awards at Annual Breakfast to be Held on Sunday, December 3rd

YONKERS, NY — December 2, 2017 — Operation Santa Claus, which raises funds to assist developmentally disabled children and adults, will announce awards at their annual breakfast to be held on Sunday, December 3rd at Fairways at Dunwoodie, 1 Wasylenko Drive, Yonkers, NY. Several area organizations that serve persons with developmental disabilities will be awarded grants.

The organizations will use the funds to purchase equipment and enhance programs that are not otherwise funded for their residents and clients who have developmental disabilities.

“Operation Santa Claus is a Yonkers tradition that began more than fifty years ago, and really shows the generosity of our residents and businesses to those who could use some extra help,” said Senator Nick Spano, who is Honorary Chairman.

Sponsorships are available at $1,500, patron tables for $500, and individual tickets for $50.00.

This year’s brunch will honor the following:

Jawonio with the 2017 Outstanding Provider Award.

Empress Ambulance Services, Inc. will receive the 2017 Community Service Award.

Shannon Nella will receive the 2017 Parent/Advocate Award.

The brunch begins at 10 a.m. on December 3rd at Fairway at Dunwoodie, 1 Wasylenko Drive in Yonkers, at the Dunwoodie Golf Course.

  1. This is a real cause to hold a fundraiser for. This cause gets tremendous support from the Arab Community unlike the little support given to corrupt political action committees.

    1. only corruption here is Nick Spano and his ties to city government just look at his client list many have contracts or do business with Yonkers,start with the PBA and the CLSA 75k a year do do lobbying work both those unions never ever had a contract with a lobbying firm,Look at the I.D.A and see who sits on it all nicks friends one of them got a sweet heart deal on N-valley 470 nepperhan ave Joe Cotter did the right thing and jumped ship…lol,so please dont talk about corruption it all starts with spaNO…..
