OSSINING, NY — May 22, 2018 — A ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the Sing Sing Kill Brewery (SSKB) will take place this Friday, May 25th at 4pm. The taproom will be open to the public at 5pm.
Located in the heart of Ossining’s downtown, the Sing Sing Kill Brewery and taproom occupy a pair of store fronts that had been abandoned for over a decade. The majority of funding to make this project happen came from Ossining community members, and the renovation drew upon the incredible talents of local tradesmen, artists and artisans.
As a NYS Farm Brewery, they are committed to supporting the state’s agricultural industry by crafting beers using local ingredients, with a particular focus on the lower Hudson Valley. As the newest member of Westchester’s Hudson River Brewery Trail, they intend to fill the gap between Yonkers, Tarrytown and Peekskill.
They are excited to be part of the revitalization of the Ossining community as they provide jobs, and draw more people to Ossining’s burgeoning downtown scene. They look forward to welcoming their neighbors, and beer-enthusiasts from around the region, to indulge in the highest level of quality and uniqueness of experience, from grain to glass.
