The Pictorial Evidence and Wisdom of George Bernard Shaw Hezitorial

Mold recognizably evident in the ceiling tiles at Paideia School 15 of Yonkers

YONKERS, NY — October 5, 2018 — The first step in correcting past travesties is to divulge it. The second step is to vote for those candidates that espouse your perspective and sensibilities. Before our times, Irish dramatist George Bernard Shaw opined that to know nothing and think you know everything points to a political career. Yonkers Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Edwin Quezada and Board of Education Trustee President Rev. Steve Lopez should have heeded those words of wisdom though they are likely to have both not heard of him nor had the capacity to evolve beyond their respective capacity. In fact, to this day neither Rev. Lopez, nor Dr. Quezada have issued a statement of concern to the students, teaching staff, and ancillary workers for having abrogated their individual and collective responsibility for the safety and health concerns who attended Paideia School 15 of Yonkers. To that end, Shaw defined the demeanor of Quezada and Lopez to a tee when in what must have been a clairvoyant moment said, “Silence is the most perfect expression of scorn.” After all, Yonkers students, parents / guardian, teachers, custodian, kitchen workers, school bus drivers, and the Yonkers community at large all deserve a sincere apology and remedy to the crisis revealed under their watch!

The mold infestation of Paideia School 15 ceiling tiles has been growing growing for months.

The mold at Paideia School 15 of Yonkers has evidently revealed itself many months if not years ago.

It may be wise of both of them to take to heart George Bernard Shaw’s admonition: “We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility of our future. Perhaps that time has come and gone.

    1. Nader was getting kickbacks. That’s why they call him Nader “Pickpocket” Sayegh. Nader was Quasadia’s boss. The Schools got this way under the good “doctors” care. Btw he is not a doctor.

  1. This is an eloquently written piece! I love the Shaw reference.

Why can’t you be our mayor or superintendent? It would be lovely to have some literate folks at the helm for a change.

    Cheers to the author!

  2. All that was stated is 100% accurate and hoping to hear more. Quesada is a horrible individual and an atrocious leader. Everyone milking the system and running a muck.

  3. I heard NYS test scores went down at both 15 and Dodson. The Dumbinican Doolittle spins and mumbles to deflect from a simple yes or no answer. Do tell are the scores down at 15 and Dodson and in most of the YPS schools. Been in Yonkers for over five decades never seen the schools in such turmoil. It more about poor, despicable leadership than the money.

    1. Maybe it’s due to Cognitive Impairment Associated with Exposure to Mold. Might wanna check Shitty Haul for mold too. Might explain why everyone in the building seems to be cognitively impaired.

  4. This entire toxic mold situation and the failing YPS school system is spiraling out of control. This Quesada is by far the worst Yonkers has ever seen. Change is needed ASAP.

  5. Hezi the community’s strength in the politician’s eyes is decreasing rapidly. Mpac gives politicians the idea that the Arabic/ Jordanian Community is weak from handful of people that showed up to Mpacs event. The politicians need to know that Mpac has nothing to do with the Jordanian Community. The community is strong and Mpac does not give a proper representation of that.

    1. Hezi please explain to everyone that mpac is not Jordanian but it is John khader. No one supports the John Khader self made mpac. The Jordanians are strong and smart enough to realize that John khader is a scam artist

      1. Deleted due to it being off topic. Should this issue be so important to you, take it up personally with the people / person you wish to challenge … this brawl will not be permitted here. kindly, Hezi

  6. Report Repairs and Corruption to Them ?
In Yonkers any person you report anything to you will have them report you.
When you report them, that is when the vendetta will start against you.
    They want SILENCE.
Silence allows the larceny to continue.
The Silence allows for the Larceny and everything from within to rot.
Definitely Most Extremely Basic is that Yonkers City Hall is The Problem.
In Yonkers you suck ass- shut up- and do not ever stop this process.

  7. I hear the School 15 parents have initiated a petition to oust Quesada. I’m hearing the petition and movement is gaining traction. He has destroyed this school system.

  8. Term limits was the buzz at the MPAC event, the Spano’s have warmed up to John Khader to deliver the votes to extend term limits.

    1. There will be no term limits change without a referendum. Do do so would be illegal under the charter. All you need is one person to file a TRO and a lawsuit will happen.

  9. Have any of you been to Gorton, ever?! The place is a hole compared to school 15. How have so many schools gone into disrepair?! Forensic audit by the Feds, please!

  10. YPS is an inter- galactic freak show. What a total mess. Quesada is an absolute horror. New mayor equals New YPS leader. What a mess and these poor kids.

  11. Let us remain focused on the toxic mold issues allegedly at all schools but right now attention must be laser like at School 15. This is not about politics, but rather more about the health, safety and welfare of our young children and staff at School 15.

    1. Yes, very low turnout of their own MPAC members. Guess they know or feel Nader is going to win, so why bother showing up. Or they are not excited about Nader. Nader has spent enough money already to buy the vote.

    2. Cry me a river…………………….
      So what !
The Khaders did not stop anyone from attending.
I say who’s fault is that.
If only Khaders attended. Is this a Khader writing this comment ?
Is that even enough for a game of Backgammon ?
