Eastchester Town Supervisor Anthony S. Colavita.

EASTCHESTER, NY — November 11, 2018 — Town Supervisor Anthony Colavita has served 7 two-year terms since 2004. The last time he ran, support for his re-election effort dwindled from a norm of 5,000 plus votes to an anemic 1,000 votes due to a changing demographic that was leaning more left. The voting trend has become the catalyst informing Supervisor Colavita that this may be the year to exit while on top of his game and support throughout Eastchester.

It is not yet known if Mr. Colavita will return to the law to engage his time and interests, or he may invest more time as a Member of the Board of Directors of Comstock Funds, Inc., part of the Gabelli Funds upon which he has served since 2004. The prospects for Mr. Colavita are broad in discipline and interests for him.

Yonkers Tribune wishes him continued success and good health.
