Nader Sayegh Elected In A Landslide Victory To The New York State Assembly

Nader Sayegh, newly-elected New York State Assemblyman representing the communities in District 90.

YONKERS, NY – November 9, 2018 —  Nader Sayegh, newly elected Assembly Member for the 90th District, emerged from the November General elections with a landslide victory. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Sayegh campaign team and the support of organized labor.

“I am so honored that the people of Yonkers have chosen me as their next Assembly Member,” said Sayegh. “Democrats saw great victories this Tuesday, and most importantly, we saw a higher level of participation than we have seen in a very long time. I am enthused to see that there are more and more people getting involved in the democratic process.”

Ballots are still being counted, but so far we have seen 23,128 votes casted for Nader Sayegh in this election. The Sayegh campaign saw overwhelming support from organized labor, and local elected officials.

I am thankful for the support from my family as well, as they have been with me from day one, and will continue to be my foundation.”

Nader Sayegh becomes the first Jordanian American in the Assembly. The 90th district is an entirely Yonkers seat, and as a son of Yonkers, Sayegh will work hard to ensure the city receives the representation it deserves.

      1. You are an idiot. Republicans ran an aggressive campaign? How could Republicans run an aggressive campaign, when the biggest Yonkers Republicans Zehy and John Khader, were running Nader’s campaign and working every back door deal to show force. The poor guy, Pinion, went to every event alone. He was a sacrificial lamb.
