YONKERS, NY — February 27, 2019 — After careful consideration and input from my family, exploratory team, and closest advisors, I have decided not to continue with my candidacy for the City Council 3rd District for the City of Yonkers.

At this time, I feel that it is in my best interest to focus my time and energy on family, personal and professional obligations, and to continue to serve our neighbors through community advocacy.

Although I am taking my name out of the running I will remain as I have always been, a voice for the people, and continue to champion causes that benefit our community. I am proud to be able to continue my commitments to the Lake Avenue Community Association, the Yonkers Auxiliary Police, the Hudson River Community Association, Latin American Youths of Yonkers, Broadway Community Center, Yonkers-East Yonkers Rotary, and others.

Thank you all for the support, wisdom and advice throughout this process.

I want to wish the remaining candidates all the best in their endeavor to represent District 3.

  1. Anyone in this district who vote for Robbersome and thinks he’s a democtRAT are out of their minds. He’s no more a democRAT, just like SpaNO is not one either.
Yonkers politics is a cesspool of bottom feeders and when you look are the city it really is a “$hithole”.
Ya have to wonder where SpaNo gets the balls to claim, $3billion in new jobs, development and housing. Get him to provide empirical data, as if this is true why gig he stick it to us with a 6.2% tax hike. If all of this true, where are all of these taxes???????
