OSSINING, NY — March 9, 2019 — The OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates Westchester and Hudson Valley Chapter invites everyone to attend its 12th Rising Stars Concert on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Ossining Public Library, 53 Croton Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562 (914-941-2416)
The concert showcases the musical talents of young Asian Pacific Americans, age 7 to 18, selected through an audition process by a panel of distinguished and accomplished musicians and music teachers at the Music Conservatory of Westchester.
Guest Performer: Mr. Bi Cong
Mr. Bi, an extraordinarily gifted young Chinese American pianist, has performed in various concerts and festivals in China and America. His next concert is at Carnegie Hall on April 12, 2019.
The audience will be entertained with a fun performance and a culturally enriching experience featuring music and instruments from the east and west. This program is organized by the OCA-Westchester and Hudson Valley Chapter (OCA-WHV) and the Ossining Public Library with support from corporate sponsors TD Bank and New York Life.
Admission and parking are free.
Light refreshments will be served immediately after the concert.
