NEW YORK, NY — April 15, 2019 —The internationally recognized Kips Bay Decorator Show House, hosted by premier youth organization Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, lands on the Upper East Side and claims 36-38 East 74th Street as its 2019 location.

“Every year, we work hard to find an exceptional house that will act as the ideal setting for renowned designers from all over the world to display their personal styles,” says Kips Bay President’s Dinner Chair and celebrated interior designer Bunny Williams.  “The 2019 Kips Bay Decorator Show House is no exception and offers endless opportunities for this year’s group of designers. We’re excited to see their visions come to life in this space.”

The Show House doubles as the nation’s leading design event of the year and Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s top fundraiser.  The gorgeous residence will be open to the public for one month beginning May 2, 2019.

The acclaimed Decorator Show House is visited by 15,000 people each year and benefits the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, which offers imperative after-school and enrichment programs for more than 10,000 youth, ages 6 through 18, in ten locations throughout the Bronx.  The esteemed organization has raised over $22 million to date.

The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club is one of the most prominent and responsive youth development agencies in New York City, dedicated to improving the lives of New York City’s children who are economically, socially or recreationally disadvantaged. It is considered a “flagship” of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Admission is $40. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
