ALBANY, NY — April 9, 2019 — People in the know have advised the Yonkers Tribune that the New York State Legislature has approved the additional 1 Percent Westchester County Sales Tax levy requested by Westchester County Executive George Latimer. The bill will increase sales taxes in the county to 8.375 percent. It awaits the Governor’s approval.

  1. Love the Democrats, can’t wait till they raise the sales tax to 25% and blame the republicans, laughing my ass off!! Latimer SUCKS!

  2. Doing what politicians do best, keep increasing taxes and pushing more and more people out of this tax crazy state. The county just like the State needs a good recession for a reality check on salaries and spending.
