NEW YORK, NY — May 20, 2019 — “Ed Cox has been invaluable as Chairman of the New York State Republican Party, and I’m thrilled that he is joining our finance team to help re-elect President Donald Trump,” advised Trump Victory Finance Chairman Todd Ricketts.

Erie County GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy, supported by Carl Paladino, is expected to step into the Chairmanship role.

In a statement issued by Cox, he advised that “Ensuring President Trump is reelected is the most critical task at hand and I’m honored to take on the important role of helping deliver the resources he needs for a huge victory next year. Serving as Chairman of the NYGOP over the last ten years has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life, and I will continue to actively help elect more Republicans here in New York.

“I will be fulfilling the remainder of my term, and in the process, work to unify the Party and ensure a smooth transition for Chairman Langworthy.”

    1. I infer by his changing party affiliations the demographics in the district inform that there is a greater number of registered Democrats than Republicans. There is no other logical perspective. Kindly, Hezi
