New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo.

NEW YORK, NY — August 12, 2019 — Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today said, “I am sickened by Monday’s series of assaults on Hasidic Jews in Williamsburg. In New York, we have absolutely zero tolerance for such heinous acts; they are completely unacceptable and are repugnant to our values of diversity and inclusion.

“I am directing the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to immediately provide the NYPD with any resources needed to assist in the investigation of this incident and to ensure those responsible are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.

“Anti-Semitism is a growing cancer that has been injected into the nation’s body but in New York we will continue to stand united and with one voice condemn any and all acts of hatred and intolerance.”

  1. Don’t get me wrong-no one deserves to be attacked. But if Governor Jerk-off wants to investigate something, how about the rampant and disgraceful abuse of Medicaid, food stamps, and subsidies by the Hasidim and the Orthodox? Maybe that will start to chip away at New York State’s annual 20 billion dollar Medicaid tab. Yes, that’s right, I said 20 billion. Of course I will be called a bigot for this post because in this day and age, anyone other than white males can cry racism if they are called out for their abject refusal to accept any personal responsibility whatsoever.
