PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC (CZECHIA), YONKERS, NY, and DOBBS FERRY, NY — September 4, 2019 — We are in search of our uncle, a Czechoslovak émigré, Lawrence Sprysl, born on December 28, 1923, in Prague, Czechia (Praha, Česká Republika). His father  was Jan Sprysl and his mother Josefa Sprysl. Lawrence Sprysl fled Communist Czechoslovakia in March 1948, where he faced imminent arrest for his political views. He would marry his future wife known as Jackie Lee Campbell; they divorced in 1985.

Lawrence Sprysl last lived at 42 S Nichols Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10701. He died on December 21, 2009, at St Cabrini Nursing Home, 115 Broadway,  Dobbs Ferry, NY.

Hledáme našeho strýce československého emigranta LAWRENCE SPRYSL * Dec 28, 1923 Prague. Otec se jmenoval Jan Sprysl a matka Josefa. Lawrence utekl v březnu 1948 z komunistického Československa, kde měl být zatčen pro politické názory. Jeho manželka se jmenovala Jackie Lee Campbell, ale rozvedli se v roce 1985. Naposledy bydlel na 42 S Nichols Avenue a zemřel Dec 21, 2009 v domově důchodců St Cabrini 115 Broadway Dobbs Ferry. Jsme jeho příbuzní a hledáme jeho osudy, děti i přátelé. filip.uzel@email.cz
