YONKERS, NY — February 6, 2020 — The Yonkers Democratic City Committee held its Nominating Convention last night. The results are herein:

Yonkers Democratic City Committee

Congressman Eliot L. Engel (NY-16) nominated

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins – District 35 nominated.

New York State Senator Shelley Mayer – District 37 nominated.

New York State Assemblyman J. Gary Pretlow – AD-89 nominated.

New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh – AD-90 nominated.

Yonkers City Court Judges:

Judge Thomas Daly – nominated.

Verris Shako, Esq. – nominated.

Brendan McGrath – nominated.

    1. Talk about Tammany hall days Steve Levy and Tommy jr aka dumb and dumber will be in for a surprise soon, never saw a convention with no impartial oversight, can you imagine what these 2 crooks concocted. Thought they can cook the numbers and get away with it???

      Sometimes it is a blessing not to have the endorsement. The only democratic endorsement winners are the unopposed races.

      In some cases the candidates in Yonkers that are not endorsed win.
      So it’s fair game for all.
      Good luck to all 5 candidates.

      I’m rooting for Verris Shako
      We need an intelligent woman of color who is well qualified.
