Grand Council of United Emerald Societies Endorse Dan Romano for Yonkers City Court Judge

YONKERS, NY – May 27, 2020 —Yonkers City Court Judge candidate Dan Romano today thanked members of the Grand Council of United Emerald Societies for their endorsement.

“I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Grand Council of United Emerald Societies and look forward to a productive relationship with all police, fire, and civil service personnel as a City Court Judge,” said Romano. “Law enforcement and our court system are dependent on one another, and I am grateful to have the faith and support of this coalition of law enforcement and other public servants to uphold the law and serve our community.”

“It is the opinion of the Grand Council of United Emerald Societies that Dan Romano has the experience, integrity and proven track record to represent our members, and the people of the City of Yonkers as a City Court Judge,” said Thomas O’Connor, First Vice President and Political Action Committee Chairman. “We are proud to offer our support, and believe that Dan will be a strong ally to all law enforcement and civil servants as a City Court Judge.”

The Grand Council of United Emerald Societies is a fraternal organization comprised of over twenty Emerald Societies throughout New York, representing close to twenty-five thousand members from police, fire, and non-uniform civil service agencies.

Dan Romano is a lifelong Yonkers resident who has practiced law in Yonkers and Westchester County for over thirty years. Dan has dedicated his career to fighting for Yonkers families in court, and now he wants to bring his passion for the law and fighting for ordinary people to the City Court.

  1. McGrath is no better. McGrath sold his soul to the devil, Mike Spano, in return for being a non-investigating IG and then appointed a judge.

    You are running to become a city court judge.
    Yet, you have aligned yourself with a felon who was convicted of corruption and of tax fraud.
    How can Yonkers voters expect that you will be a fair and impartial judge when you show such craven behavior?
