Romano Campaign Receives Westchester-Putnam Building and Construction Trades Council Endorsement

YONKERS, NY – May 21, 2020 —Yonkers City Court Judge candidate Dan Romano on Wednesday, May 20th thanked members of the Westchester-Putnam Building and Construction Trades Council for their endorsement ahead of the June 23rd Democratic primary for City Court Judge.

“I am proud to have the endorsement of the Building and Construction Trades ahead of next month’s election,” said Romano. “My vision is to create a city court system that works for everybody, not just the wealthy and the well connected, and I am glad that vision has the support of organized labor. It’s an honor to have the support of the hardworking members of the Building and Construction Trades Council, and I look forward to working with their membership during the campaign and beyond.”

“Dan is a very strong candidate,” said Westchester-Putnam Building and Construction Trades Council President Edward Doyle. “The Romano family have unmatched roots and longevity in the community, and Dan has more legal experience than anybody in this year’s field of judge candidates. He will be an excellent addition to the city court and will be an ally to organized labor.”

“Dan will be a fresh new voice on the City Court,” added Westchester-Putnam Building Trades Political Director Louis Picani. “I was particularly impressed by Dan’s record of performing pro-bono work in the community.
