YONKERS, NY – June 18, 2020 — Yonkers City Court Judge candidate Dan Romano today announced yet another endorsement from local organized labor in the form of Teamsters Local 456.
“Local 456 is truly the backbone of our great city,” said Romano. “I am proud to grow the coalition of organized labor supporting our campaign, and am grateful to the Teamsters for their endorsement. Local 456 has been at the forefront of electing strong Democratic candidates in Yonkers in recent years, and as a true Democratic candidate, I am grateful that they recognized the potential in my candidacy.”
“Dan is carrying forward an incredible family legacy,” said Local 456 President Louis Picani. “Dan and his family have always been known for their unique, altruistic approach to the law, and have cultivated an incredible reputation for generosity, kindness, and fairness. In these troubled times, these are the attributes we need on our City Court. Dan will be a voice for everyone, not just the wealthy and well connected; as an attorney in our community, he has fought for countless needy and otherwise helpless clients, and I am confident he will bring his compassionate, altruistic approach to the law as our next City Court Judge.”
Teamsters Local 456 represents workers in Westchester and Putnam Counties, including many workers for the City of Yonkers. The Democratic primary will be held on June 23rd. Voters can contact the Romano campaign at 914-580-4114 for more information on Dan’s vision for the Yonkers City Court, or to schedule a ride to the polls.
Dan Romano is a lifelong Yonkers resident who has practiced law in Yonkers and Westchester County for over thirty years. Dan has dedicated his career to fighting for Yonkers families in court, and now he wants to bring his passion for the law and fighting for ordinary people to the City Court.
