WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — July 16, 2020 — Incumbent Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino Jr. has conceded to Mimi Rocah in her Democratic Party Primary.

In a news release issued in the name of Westchester County DA Scarpino, Jr., it was noted that he had called Ms. Rocah to congratulate her on her victory.

She advised that she was honored to be able to declare victory after receiving Scarpino’s call.

Mimi Roach will face Republican Bruce Bendish in November.

DA Scarpino previously beat Bruce Bendish for District Attorney in the 2016 challenge.

Mimi Roach is a Scarsdale resident. She has garnered 16 years of expertise as a federal prosecutor. Prior to that she was a litigator for the well-respected and prestigious firm of Cravath, Swaine and Moore.

Since 2017, Ms. Rocah has been on staff at Pace University School of Law and a legal analyst for MSNBC.

She is married with two children.
