YONKERS, NY — July 14, 2020 — David Rubin, author of “Trump and The Jews”, and former Mayor of Shilo, Israel speaks to a few issues. The most compelling is the issue of sovereignty, the admonition heard from many countries, as well as the Jewish Diaspora, the resurgent numbers of those infected by COVID-19 commensurate with the rise of anti-semitism, the economic response taken by the Netanyahu government, and the discovery of oil reserves as huge as that of Saudi Arabia off the Israeli coast. From 10-10:20am
John Bailey, White Plains CitizenNetReporter Publisher / Editor speaks to a few concerns:
- The delay in tabulating the June 23rd Primary Election. At issue is why it happened, if the issue can be mitigated in future elections.
- Christopher Burdick of Bedford, vying to represent AD-93 seems to be in the lead over Kristen Browde of New Castle and Jeremiah Frie-Pearson of White Plains.
- The 47-years old venerable Rye Town Hilton in Rye Brook, a site for weddings, business conferences and meetings became the second Rye Brook Hotel to inform of their permanent closing and that employees on furlough since March will be dismissed. Additional closures since March were divulged to be the Ritz-Carlton and the Arrowwood Doral, whereas, as previously noted, the Ritz-Carlton in White Plains said it would close for about a 10-month renovation into a Marriott hotel. We speak to the impact these closures will exact on the budget and fiscal health on Westchester County and Rye Brook, NY.
- We lament the passing of Nick Cordero, known for his role in the play, “A Bronx Tale”.
Thereafter, Hezi Aris, Yonkers Tribune Publisher / Editor-at-Large engages in the most recent city, county, state, national, and international news with commensurate analysis. From 11am-12Noon.
