WACO,TX, and YONKERS, NY — The broadcast opens to The Unvarnished Blog Publisher / Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle. M. Etzel’s deciphers the complex takeaway of the Republican Presidential Convention; its tone, demeanor, optical appeal, and its capacity in what may well turn out to be a close presidential election this November 3rd. She further compares the disparate parties’ approach. Is the public engaged in the presidential elections process? What are the issues most pertinent to the electorate? Is there a formula to bring both parties together for the sake of the American citizenry or have we lost the act of accommodation and arrived at discord and we are learning to abide by the new reality. We extrapolate if the impact of the month’s long standoff in various cities across the nation are redefining America with warts and blemishes for all to see.

From 10-11am

Gail Baxter, Yonkers Community Stakeholder continues to expose the deleterious ramifications to which there is a blatant lack of transparency, fiscally irresponsible conduct, the lack of a safe return to the Yonkers Public School District for students, teachers, ancillary staff, and administrative personnel. Monday’s announcement that $21.5 million that was part of the approved FY2019-2020 budget will not be forthcoming. Additionally, $45-$50 million in expected revenues have not been realized. In light of a longevity clause that amended salaries for Yonkers Police Department about a week ago, it stands to reason that Yonkers coffers are depleted and exposes FY2019-2020 budget a sham; here too, a lack of transparency. How can the YPS suffer layoffs when the student population is said to be comprised of 27,000 students? We connect the dots that will rationalize the conduct Yonkers has too long suffered. Revealing that obtuse and intransigent demeanor reveals how deleterious and invalid that approach has been.

From: 11am-12Noon.
