New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo.

ALBANY, NY — December 10, 2020 — “Tonight marks the first night of the Hanukkah and as our brothers and sisters in the Jewish community light the menorah, let us reflect on their enduring resilience in the face of hardship. Now more than ever, their examples of perseverance and spirit serve as models for the rest of us to follow during these tumultuous times.”

“Only by staying united as one New York community, supporting one another, and doing what you can to keep others safe, will we get through the darkness.

“Chag Urim Sameach and on behalf of all New Yorkers, best wishes, stay safe and Happy Hanukkah.”
