YORKTOWN, NY — December 12, 2020)—Yorktown will have a direct line of communication with Santa Claus this season thanks to the Yorktown Museum.
Children are invited to write letters to Santa and drop them off at a holiday mailbox at Town Hall. Any child who would like to receive a response from Santa should deliver their letter with a return address to Santa’s mailbox by December 21. One of Santa’s helpers at the Yorktown Museum, the activity’s sponsor, will send children a special holiday response.
“Most of Santa’s helpers are franticly wrapping toys and preparing for Christmas, but a few of them have taken a break from Santa’s workshop to help keep our children’s holiday dreams alive. Whether your child is naughty, nice or somewhere in between, they will receive a response,” said Town Clerk Diana Quast.
Santa’s mailbox is located in front of Town Hall at 363 Underhill Avenue.
