The mission of Saint Ignatius Loyola School is to incorporate the Catholic Christian values as exemplified by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and Saint Ignatius Loyola along with high academic achievement, in an environment that encourages enthusiasm for learning.

MOUNT VERNON, NY and YONKERS, NY –  June 8, 2021 —  Two Loyola School graduates from your coverage area will be attending prestigious universities in September.

  • Owen Henegar

    Owen Henegar (Mt. Vernon, NY) will be attending Pepperdine University. Owen was a member of Loyola School’s two-time champion baseball team.

  • Regina Potenza

    Regina Potenza (Yonkers, NY) will be attending the University of Miami. Regina received the Robert Sheehy Outstanding Female Athlete award at graduation. She was also a “Peer Leader,” a member of the school Chorus,  and a member of the Forensics (Speech) Team.
