YONKERS, NY — December 24, 2021 — New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh, Esq. (NYS-AD-90)  comprising the City of Yonkers, NY, opens our broadcast day by informing our listening audience over some of his concerns and focus. He explains his concerns over crime and criminal justice issues. He espouses the logic of expanding the vaccination clinic at the Yonkers Armory to one at which a state testing site may be an addition to its capacity in order to better serve the public interest. We inquire over the heavy lifting such a logical upgrade to the system entails. From 10-10:30am

Richard Thomas, former Mount Vernon Mayor, follows thereafter. A lawsuit that afforded the Mount Vernon Assessor a legal win of $390,000 revealed that those people elected into office are not always qualified to serve the office to which they seek, yet when hired, are qualified to conduct they work they are entrusted to complete. Why question why that is permitted? Why it is permitted. And whether a law could have been inculcated to serve the public interest. We make inquiry over whether then Mayor Thomas was privy to the potential for a lawsuit. And how does the public go about getting the credential and capacity of those who stand before them as credible. Who substantiates their bona fides? If/when anyone fails to carry out their responsibilities, why are they not made personally liable?

NYS Governor Hochul has awarded the City of Mount Vernon $10 million dollars to ameliorate the effluence that interfered in conducting business and people homes, and polluted rivers, and killed aquatic creatures. Has Governor Hochul eclipsed the “talk” of former Governor Andrew Cuomo by her recognizing the financial quagmire and environmental assault on local habitat when this issue has been festering for years? Has she single handed lay shown every strata of government how to be proactive and responsive to issues of concern. How is it that she heard Mount Vernon’s outcry, but the former Governor had not? How can the public be assured that whose who stand before them concur with the public’s interests. From 10:30am-11:30

Hezi Aris, Mount Vernon Tribune/Yonker Tribune Publisher/Editor and Westchester On the Level Radio Host concludes the Friday segment with an introspection into hyperlocal, state, national and international news with commensurate analysis. From11:30am-12Noon.
