Assembly Vote was 89-52; Legislation Moves to State Senate   Washington, DC – The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, issued the following statement after the New York State Assembly voted 89-52 today in favor of marriage for same-sex couples.  The legislation will now move to the State Senate.
