ALBANY, NY and NEW YORK, NY and YONKERS, NY — December 17, 2012 — Proponents backing New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins being named the Democatic Conference Leader replacing Senate Minority John Sampson of Brooklyn, NY, were successful in doing so during a closed-door meeting held in Manhattan among Senate Democrats.
