Yonkers, NY — The following is an official update from the City of Yonkers regarding last night's severe thunderstorm and the city's response. Regarding the storm itself, the city has not yet received confirmation of a tornado. The National Weather Service, working through the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services, is trying to determine whether or not a tornado struck.
